Traveling

It is possible for your mind to be
so open that your brains fall out.

European countries

Here are a few words of what I have been experiencing through my journeys so far...

Austria

The scenery is as good as in Switzerland. As far as I understand the prices are lower, though. I got to test their slalom slopes someday!

Belgium

Small area ... that I passed through during the night twice, so there is not much to tell, sorry.

Denmark

Very nice & friendly people. I just can't understand their speech although I can speak swedish. They seem to think first what their about to say and then 'shoot' it out! Countryside is also nice (big trees in forests)

Estonia

A cheap country (for finnish people). Mustamaentori and the old town is the places you'll want to visit! It's really a shame that the time is very limited when you are on shopping cruise --> No time to see sights or just sit on some street bar and taste the local food (and the local beer Saku).

France

I have visited Paris twice and once through the whole country. Scenery was ordinary, but moustly because of other 'tourist's I had a bad taste from Paris. The name of the game was no place to stay: NOT cool. French people certainly ain't frienly UNLESS you speak their language - I dunno why (pride?)? Marseille was a cool place though.

Germany

The golden land of beer, is really what they promise! Do not even think you can taste them all or you will miserably fail! This is of course the case in UK also. Anyway the distances are sometimes long, but luckily the roads and other means of transportation are practical.

Greece

The isle of Rhodes has nice climate but actually quite few places to visit. One week is enough time to visit the famous places(Lindos, Butterfly valley, Ancient Kamiros etc...) and still lay on the beach. Old town is a great place with all those little shops. This was an action vacation for me because of always doing something (rented car & scoter, a boat trip)...

Italy

The golden land of football. Rome was certainly up to it's reputation! Relics in the center of city ... Nice!

Monaco

The scenery is magnificent, own Formula-1 grand prix circuit in 'town'. Really nice place!

Netherlands

Small area ... tall persons. Amsterdam has some cool discos and 'grass' for those who think they need it. I stayed few nights what could be considered as 'black' terretory ... still you don't need to be afraid when moving around. OK place by all means.

United Kingdom

I have only traveled through the south coast of England. Rainy weather was only a little minus, but for me this was the place to be. Trafic system is 'a little twisted' but still understanding all what was going on around you is/was important. Neat!

Spain

Actually I haven't visited mother-Spain, just the Gran Canaria isle and to be more exact Maspalomas. I stayed two weeks though, so I had time to drive around the whole isle. The landscape was actually quite cruel looking because it seemed that if some spot of the land was not artificially moistured, just few plants grew on it. The centre of the isle was about 2 kilometers high which made the scenery magnificent. As certain Arnold has said: "I'll be back!"

Sweden

Hmm.. I will only say that Finland is the real World Championship of Ice Hockey.

Switzerland

The best landscape ever. This was the place where I lost my heart. I used to have friend with whom I got to hiking in the mountains for whole day. This is A MUST place to visit again.

Turkey

The scenery is nice and the climate at least hot (whole two weeks above 40 degrees). Prices are cheap, but the old truth (you can't have good goods cheap) is still valid! Beaches are great (and the water salty)...

Well, that's about all (shortly) what I've seen. If theres something you want to know/discuss concerning traveling, please throw me a few lines, OK?
