NOTE! REMEMBER THIS WHEN MAKING A CHALLENGE Listed above are the teams that are registered in the League. You can challenge anyone of them, check stats to see which squads are available and allowed to compete with your current ranking. When you make a challenge, remember to email the following details to EgoSlasher -Squads playing -Match Date and Time -Match Roster
KEEP IN MIND THE RULES MADE FOR THE LEAGUE! Want to get active in the Pyramid, what do I do? First, you need to look over the latest standings. Find what rank you are at on the Pyramid, then look for teams labelled "Available" either at your rank or one rank above. These are the teams you can challenge. If there is an "Open slot" at the rank above your own, you can challenge teams at your same rank, and by beating them immediately rise into that open slot. If the rank above you is full of teams, playing a team at your rank and winning only gives you a win for record. To rise to that rank, you must defeat an available team at that rank, in affect you "take the slot" from that team. How do I challenge? To challenge, find the captain of the team you want to challenge on the Captain's list. Send email to that captain, and Carbon Copy the letter to EgoSlasher@webworldinc.com so that he can register the challenge. Inform the captain you are challenging his team to battle in the League zone. The captain is obliged to honor the challenge within 2 weekends. Offer suggestions on times and days to get together and play. It is important to carbon copy all of this to EgoSlasher, so that he can find out when the game is agreed upon. It may take several letters back and forth before a time is agreed upon. I've challenged a team, and have not gotten any response over several days, what happens now? Once EgoSlasher gets the carbon copy of the challenge, a deadline is set for the game. The deadline will be 2 weekends from the time the letter is sent usually. You can find confirmation of the match in the next Standings update. If a captain does not respond to your challenge and offers of times, EgoSlasher will assign the match a time. This will be done only if a time and day to play is not agreed upon (or responded to) by the Friday of the deadline weekend. The rank above me is full, and none of the teams there is available. Is there any reason to play? Yes, you can always challenge a team at your rank. If there are no open slots at the above rank, then beating a team at your rank will just give you a win. However, if a slot opens up later, teams with the most wins will be first in line to automatically advance to that rank. My team just rose in rank, and is labelled "May challenge only". However, there are no teams to challenge at my rank or above. What can I do? The "May challenge only" label is just a grace period, giving you a chance to make a profitable challenge. If there isnt anyone to challenge, and you want to play a team below you, you can mail EgoSlasher to change the label to "Available". You can challenge teams below you however, but you can informally dare a team below you to challenge you. Just keep in mind that playing a team a rank below you will only result in stats and record, but will not advance you. Still not clear? Here we go again then; Here are some basics: Each team is given a status, shown in the standings. These status's can change in between standings updates. For instance, a team labelled "Available" in the standings can get challenged, and immediately becomes locked in that challenge, even if its before the next standings update. The standings are a general guideline, but are not always accurate depending on the email action behind the scenes. The status labels are the same for all teams, regardless of rank, time in league, time spent in rank, win record, ect. To rise in rank, either beat a team at your rank and move into an open slot (the prefered method) or beat a team at the rank above you. The exception to this rule is level 9, in which the teams with the most wins automatically move up into available open slots. Also, if a team wins a cross rank challenge and the rank above them is full, they get "in line" for the next available slot. They will still have a regular status and can still participate in challenges, but they will move up automatically once a spot above them opens up. This may cause a cancellation of a challenge if the team challenging them is a rank below them (in effect becoming 2 ranks below them, once they move up to the open slot). Here are the status's: Available: This means you can challenge or be challenged. You can challenge other AVAILABLE teams at your rank, or one rank above you. May challenge only, available: This means that on that date, the team becomes AVAILABLE. Before that, they have a grace period of 1 weekend (to the Sun night of the following weekend) to cast out a challenge. If there is no one to challenge, then the grace period is nothing more than a break in the action. The grace period starts when you rise up to the next rank, if no one can challenge you, you cant save the grace period for your convinience. You can accept a challenge if you so chose under this status, if you want the practice. It gives you the option of turning down challenges that you feel would either be too difficult, or unproductive. Challenger to/Challenged by: This means that the team is involved with another team, and cannot be delt with. You cannot set up "Ill play the loser" challenges. The quickest way to get a challenge on a team already involved is to show up to the match, and challenge the team personally at the end. If I am on and get confirmation of the challenge by both captains, than I will assign the challenge. Otherwise it will go by first come first serve. All dealings between teams will become official when I get email on it, in order my server receives it. If your mail routes to Pluto and back, tough luck. Also, verbal commitments will only count when I get the mail. None of this "Mr.X challenged me in the Warzone, so Im already challenged." If I havent gotten mail on the challenge, then it isnt official. I hope this clears it up!
