And now I'm pleased with my computer, because it works well - the next purchase is and CD-ROM drive.
I can do all much better with a computer than myself without it, because I can do all things very fast with a keyboard and mouse.
I can use graphic tools, and do lots of things with pictures with 16 million differebt colors.
If I want, I can call to some BBS and leave a message to Internet Email for my friend in California, or something... I can get new files from BBS's or get messages to read these Offline in home. I can get up my own BBS, too. Than I can call from school or friends to home. All this I can do with a modem.
The hard disk is the memory, where are all my programs, this text, pictures, games, and a lot of other files.
RAM is the memory, where this text andd all programs in the background is now (in real time), but where is nothing, when I shut down this computer.
And something about my computer now: (list is coming!)
CPU: Intel 80386dx/25MHz
Video: Cirrus Logic VESA SVGA
Monitor: IBM 12" (VGA Color)
OS: MS-DOS 6.0 (Maybe I update it to 6.22 or something...)
Shell: 4DOS 5.5C
Memory: 4MB (8x256KB SIMM and 2MB on card)
Other: SoundMan Games, 1.44MB and 1.2MB floppy drives, 43MB HDD,
2400Bps modem
And there is more of my computer:
In this summer (1995) I got 1.44MB and 1.2MB floppydrives and Baby tower.
Maybe I got a CD-ROM drive on next year - who knows?
