Owner: Trevor Collenette
City: Jersey
Boat's name: Faraway
Yacht Club: St. Helier Yacht Club
Year built: 1981
Hull colour: White with blue stripe
Engine: Yanmar 1GM10
Info: My first vessel purchased in June 2002 from it's previous owner in Guernsey (where they were built). I found sailing rather later in life than many having spent most of my spare time surfing. I spent three years previous to buying, crewing (foredeck) on a HOD 35, so am fairly comfortable with everything that goes on in front of the mast but have huge amounts to learn about triming and getting the boat to go in light winds.
